Funkenburg Westgreußen

The Funkenburg is not a personal tip any longer, 2 kilometres westwards from Greußen (B4 Erfurt - Nordhausen). Excavations in the seventies of the last century have proofed evidence of an Old-Germanic fortress.

The settlement of the hill was approximately 200 years BC and finished about 50 AD.
In the course of reconstructions in near accordance with the origin residential and working buildings, store constructions, baking ovens and fortification constructions were errected.
Go on a guided time walk or on your own tour through the construction 2000 years back to the times of the Old Germanic people.

Parkmöglichkeit Zugang über Rampe bzw. Schräge rollstuhlgerechte Toilette (stufenlos erreichbar, Türbreite mindestens 85 cm, Tür läßt sich schließen, wenn der Rollstuhl im WC steht, freie Fläche: vor dem WC mindestens 120 cm Tiefe, neben dem WC mindestens 80 cm Breite, Haltegriffe vorhanden)
