Though you ave to vercome some gradients in some places and you don't find excellent cycling paths but you need no especially good condition and you only need an ordinary bike to master the routes on the plans. Beside some really circular tours, each of them about 40 kilometres long, you get connection via the Unstrut -Cycling-Path and the Harz-Vorland-Path to the international net of long-distance cycling.

Along the way you find bicycle- rent and service stops as well as bike-friendly accommodations.
