The over 1oo year old lookout tower (no entry at the moment because of
reconstruction) is the highest half-timber tower of Germany. An
open-air-enclosure with hinds and fellow deer, a bear-pit, bird cages
and a children's playground provide first -class diversion for all the
family. The former hunting lodge was the summer residence of the Earl’s
family of Schwarzburg Sondershausen.
